Where journalism meets content marketing

Martin Philp built a career as a subeditor and journalist for publications at BBC Worldwide, IPC, Bauer and other London-based publishing houses. 
A job at international advertising agency Publicis led him into the world of copywriting and, over several years, he worked on campaigns for many well-known UK brands.

Fellow journalist Gargi Shastri developed a career as a TV news reporter and a radio producer, before moving to an international marketing agency with a strong focus on SEO and building digital marketing reach.

Martin returned to Cornwall in 2005 to start Coast and Gargi joined the business in 2009. Together, they bring the accuracy, rigour and storytelling skills of journalism to the commercial world of content marketing.
